The eyes for this Frog Weathervane are made from handcrafted translucent glass. People who order this weather vane get to choose the eye color they want for their weather vane. Popular choices of eye color for this vane are green, emerald, red or topaz.
This Frog Weathervane is one of our most popular designs. In fact, our limited edition of 50 in the small size is now sold out however it is still available in the medium and large sizes. A nice feature of this design is that copper and brass usually patina beautiful shades of greenish blue over time, so if left outside long enough, its color should more and more closely resemble a real frog!
The Frog & Dragonfly weather vane (amphibian anura) featured in this image consists of a copper frog, brass cat tail reeds, a copper seed head and a small brass dragonfly. In the case of this particular weather vane, our customer had us gold leaf the little dragonfly. Because our vanes are made to order, the choice of metals can be modified at the time an order is placed.

To place an order, please call us at (831) 425-5505.
At the time you call, we will provide you with an estimated completion date.
At the time the order is placed, a deposit of 1/3 is due. Upon receipt of the deposit, time will be reserved in our schedule. The balance is due when the weather vane has been completed and prior to shipping. Deposits can be made with Visa, MasterCard or check.
All West Coast Weather Vanes are custom made for the person who orders them.
