Killer Whale Weather Vane

This large Killer Whale weathervane was made for a customer in
Arizona. He was kind enough to send us two photos of the
weathervane a top his lovely new home. As you can see, the
copper has darkened, creating a striking contrast with the gold
leaf used to indicate the distinctive white markings of the
Orca.

The Orca Whale (Orcinus orca)
aka Killer Whale weather vane featured in this image consists of
a copper Orca with goldleafed "white" sections. This weather vane, in particular
is quite striking once the copper has weathered a dark chocolate brown in color
and the much lighter colored gold leaf stands in marked contrast. The longer
this vane is outdoors, the more spectacular it's appearance. However, because
our vanes are made to order, the choice of metals can be modified at the time an
order is placed.
The Orca's eyes are made from handcrafted glass eyes with black
pupils. People who order this weather vane get to choose the eye color they want
for their weather vane.

At the
time you call, we will provide you with an estimated completion date.
At the time the order is placed, a deposit of 1/3
is due. Upon receipt of the deposit, time will be reserved in our
schedule. The balance is due when the weather vane has been completed and
prior to shipping. Deposits can be made with Visa, MasterCard or check.
All West Coast Weather Vanes are custom made for
the person who orders them.
