This Golf Banner weathervane is handmade entirely in copper; however, we can personalize this banner to indicate your particular club, family name, etc. This is usually accomplished by adding optional gold leaf (see top left weathervane photo.). For example, we recently took an order for one of these Golf Banner weathervanes where the customer wanted us to add the number 19 to both sides of the pennant. This can also be accomplished by cutting letters or numbers out of the surface of the pennant but it is important to keep in mind that the cutouts will read backwards if the weathervane sculpture piece rotates 180 degrees. For this reason, most people opt for the gold leaf to convey the logo.
Another option that we offer with the Golf Banner weather vane is a custom 4” diameter milk colored 4” glass globe in place of the traditional 2” copper globe. This white globe is meant to evoke a golf ball. In the photo shown here, our customer also had us fabricate an optional custom bracket (see below the 4” copper globe). At the time you call, we will provide you with an estimated completion date.
At the time the order is placed, a deposit of 1/3 is due. Upon receipt of the deposit, time will be reserved in our schedule. The balance is due when the weather vane has been completed and prior to shipping. Deposits can be made with Visa, MasterCard or check.
All West Coast Weather Vanes are custom made for the person who orders them.
