Commemorative Weathervanes for Special Occasions:

Weathervanes can make very special gifts to commemorate important life occasions. Below are some suggestions that might be appropriate for specific milestones. Of course, selecting a weathervane that represents the particular interests of the recipient is another popular way of acknowledging the occasion.

An important part of many of our commemorative weathervanes is the inclusion of “lucky pennies” and personalized inscriptions (click on links for details about these special attributes). For example, in our Children Weathervane, we can include pennies from the birth year of each child along with inscriptions beneath each child which contains their names.

On either of these vanes, we can inscribe the new arrival’s name and date of birth. In one case, we had a customer who ordered one of each of these vanes at the arrival of each of his two children’s birth.

Our Double Heart weather vane is a particularly nice way to celebrate an anniversary because we can put a “lucky penny” in the smaller heart to represent the year the couple was married and a penny from the anniversary date in the larger heart to symbolically represent the growth of their love as the years have gone by.
