This copper Australian Shepherd Dog weathervane features glass eyes, gold leafed patterns and distinctive tooling which gives the fur a realistic texture on the body. Customers can provide photographs of their special canine pets for a customized weather vane depicting their favorite dog. Glass eye color can be selected to accommodate a variety of dog eye colors. Personalized dog weathervanes can feature gold-leafing to bring out your pet's distinctive spots, as well as dog collars bearing your dog's name. Version #1 has the Australian Shepherds tugging a rope between them. The custom weather vane, version #2, pictured on the right, shows the dogs playing tug-o-war with a frisbee.
The Australian Shepherd is a working dog that was developed in the United States in the 19th century. The dog, commonly known as an Aussie, is popular in its native California and is growing in popularity in countries across the world. Contrary to its name, the breed did not originate in Australia.
Like many working breeds, the Aussie has considerable energy and drive and usually needs a job to do. It often excels at dog sports such as frisbee and dog agility.

At the time you call, we will provide you with an estimated completion date.
At the time the order is placed, a deposit of 1/3 is due. Upon receipt of the deposit, time will be reserved in our schedule. The balance is due when the weather vane has been completed and prior to shipping. Deposits can be made with Visa, MasterCard or check.
All West Coast Weather Vanes are custom made for the person who orders them.
