This silhouette Passage Horse weathervane was originally commissioned as a gift from one best friend to another. As part of the birthday present, the gift giver made special wishes on two pennies, one from the year her childhood friend had been born and one from the year she was celebrating her birthday. We soldered these two pennies to the circular brass base that accompanies our small sized weathervanes. In between the two pennies, our customer asked us to put a wonderful Danish proverb, which reads: THE ROAD TO A FRIEND’S HOUSE IS NEVER LONG.
The Dressage Horse, Passage weather vanes featured in the thumbnail photos has glass eyes that were custom made for this weather vane. They give it a very life like appearance! At the time you call, we will provide you with an estimated completion date.
At the time the order is placed, a deposit of 1/3 is due. Upon receipt of the deposit, time will be reserved in our schedule. The balance is due when the weather vane has been completed and prior to shipping. Deposits can be made with Visa, MasterCard or check.
All West Coast Weather Vanes are custom made for the person who orders them.
