The rearing stallion weather vane was one of our earliest designs and has been through several revisions as our technical skill has improved. The stallion shown above was made in copper with a gold leaf mane and tail. This weathervane design can also be modified to create a unicorn weathervane. You will notice that the hooves, mane and tail on both horses are slightly different. You can choose which version of the design you prefer.
The mystique of the stallion in the arts and literature is well established. Movies like Black Beauty, The Silver Brumby, Man From Snowy River, The Black Stallion and Spirit, the Stallion of Cimarron are all well know films that salute the beauty and power of the stallion. Important to many cultures throughout the world, stallions are used for breeding and maintaining or improving bloodlines in horses. They usually have a thicker, "cresty" neck compared to mares and geldings, as well as a more muscular physique and a fiery temperament and are especially popular for upper level dressage work, as well as show jumping.

At the time you call, we will provide you with an estimated completion date.
At the time the order is placed, a deposit of 1/3 is due. Upon receipt of the deposit, time will be reserved in our schedule. The balance is due when the weather vane has been completed and prior to shipping. Deposits can be made with Visa, MasterCard or check.
