HOLIDAY
WEATHERVANES
Holiday Celebrations & Observances Weather Vanes
by West Coast Weather Vanes
Weathervanes for Holidays:
One of our customers who
frequently entertains had a great idea. Over the years she has ordered
special holiday weathervanes to celebrate major holidays throughout the year.
For example, on the Fourth of July, she puts up her American Flag
Weathervane sculpture piece, and at Thanksgiving, she puts up her
Wild Turkey Weathervane! What really makes this
spectacular is she hits the weathervane with a spot light so guests approaching
her home see the holiday weathervane illuminated in the night sky.
Below are some suggestions
that might be appropriate for specific holidays. Of course, selecting a
weathervane that represents the particular interests of the recipient is another
popular way of acknowledging the holiday.
An important part of many of
our commemorative weathervanes is the inclusion of
“lucky pennies” and
personalized inscriptions (click on links for details about these special
attributes). For example, in our Children Weathervane, we can include pennies
from the birth year of each child along with inscriptions beneath each child
which contains their names.
