The Scuba Diver weather vane featured in this image consists of a copper scuba diver with brass face, hands and diving gear. The air tank was done in nickel silver. In the case of this particular weather vane, our customer had us gold leaf all the brass parts. Because our vanes are made to order, the choice of metals can be modified at the time an order is placed.
This scuba diver weathervane was originally ordered in the small size along with a small hammerhead shark weathervane and a 3 foot dive boat. Instead of displaying the Hammerhead and Scuba Diver on their individual harnesses, we soldered them to the East and West directionals, so that the Hammerhead appeared to be "chasing" the scuba diver beneath the turning Dive Boat! It was a great idea and created an entire scene with interactive elements and a dramatic story line. The dive boat was an actual scaled down replica of a real dive boat based in Santa Barbara.
The Scuba Diver weather vane can be very effectively paired with other of our weather vane designs to create a dramatic vignette against the skyline.

At the time you call, we will provide you with an estimated completion date.
At the time the order is placed, a deposit of 1/3 is due. Upon receipt of the deposit, time will be reserved in our schedule. The balance is due when the weather vane has been completed and prior to shipping. Deposits can be made with Visa, MasterCard or check.
All West Coast Weather Vanes are custom made for the person who orders them.
