This woman Soccer Player Weather Vane was originally commissioned by the University of Tennessee for their new soccer stadium. This particular weathervane was made in a combination of copper and brass. We have also made other soccer player weathervanes where we add optional gold leaf on the arms, legs, face and the white parts of the soccer ball. As the copper weathers to a deep chocolate brown color, the contrast with the gold leaf becomes more pronounced and the effect more spectacular. Distinct tooling gives her clothing and soccer ball a realistic appearance. Customers can provide photographs of their favorite soccer players for a customized weather vane. We can even personalize the weathervane to reflect a teams clothing, school or team logos, etc. The cost to personalize the weathervane depends on the extent of the modifications requested. Association football, commonly known as football or soccer, is a team sport played between two teams of 11 players each. It is widely considered to be the most popular sport in the world. A ball game, it is played on a rectangular grass field, or occasionally on artificial turf, with a goal at each end of the field. At the time the order is placed, a deposit of 1/3 is due. Upon receipt of the deposit, time will be reserved in our schedule. The balance is due when the weather vane has been completed and prior to shipping. Deposits can be made with Visa, MasterCard or check.
