This was our first angel weathervane design and is still our most contemplative. Her name was inspired by one of my favorite books, Angle of Repose by Wallace Stegner. You may also notice a similarity between this weather vane and our Angel on the Moon weathervane. One of our customers saw and liked our Moon Goddess weathervane but wanted an Angel weathervane instead. She asked if we could put this Angel onto a Moon. We thought it was a great idea and we were all very pleased with the result. However, this simpler version is also very appealing in its own right.
The project of taking this Angel in Repose weathervane and transferring her to the moon setting is an example of “personalizing a weathervane” design as opposed to “commissioning a new design”. Because much of the design work has already been done and we are simply combining two different sets of design elements, this is usually a less expensive alternative to commissioning an entire new work. To place an order, please call us at (800) 762-8736 or (831) 425-5505.
At the time you call, we will provide you with an estimated completion date.
At the time the order is placed, a deposit of 1/3 is due. Upon receipt of the deposit, time will be reserved in our schedule. The balance is due when the weather vane has been completed and prior to shipping. Deposits can be made with Visa, MasterCard or check.
All West Coast Weather Vanes are custom made for the person who orders them.
