The Netherland
Dwarf Bunny Weather Vane above is handcrafted entirely
from copper. The directional arrow is created to look like
a carrot, with the carrot top at the end. Parts of the
directional have been gold plated to add contrast to the all
copper Rabbit weathervane. The
unique tooling marks provide a realistic texture effect to mimic
its fur. A glass eye enhances the realism while adding
additional color and sparkle.
Rabbits are small mammals
in the family
Leporidae
of the order
Lagomorpha,
found in several parts of the world. There are
seven different genera in the family classified
as rabbits, including the European rabbit (Oryctolagus
cuniculus), Cottontail rabbit (genus
Sylvilagus; 13 species), and the Amami
rabbit (Pentalagus furnessi, endangered
species on
Amami Ōshima,
Japan). There are many other species of rabbit,
and these, along with
pikas
and hares, make up the order
Lagomorpha.

At the
time you call, we will provide you with an estimated completion date.
At the time the order is placed, a deposit of 1/3
is due. Upon receipt of the deposit, time will be reserved in our
schedule. The balance is due when the weather vane has been completed and
prior to shipping. Deposits can be made with Visa, MasterCard or check.
All West Coast Weather Vanes are custom made for
the person who orders them.
