This Polar Bear Weathervane design is created in copper, brass and gold leafing. The details of the bear's fur are enhanced with distinct tooling. Glass eyes give the polar bear a realistic look, particularly when the sun glints through them. As with all our weathervanes, this Polar Bear weather vane can be personalized by optional gold leafing.
The polar bear (Ursus maritimus) is a bear native to the Arctic. Polar bears and Kodiak bears are the world's largest land carnivores, with most adult males weighing 300-600 kg (660-1320 lb); adult females are about half the size of males. Its fur is hollow and translucent, but usually appears as white or cream colored, thus providing the animal with effective camouflage.
The polar bear is a vulnerable species at high risk of extinction.

At the time you call, we will provide you with an estimated completion date.
At the time the order is placed, a deposit of 1/3 is due. Upon receipt of the deposit, time will be reserved in our schedule. The balance is due when the weather vane has been completed and prior to shipping. Deposits can be made with Visa, MasterCard or check.
All West Coast Weather Vanes are custom made for the person who orders them.
