Native American Weathervanes

West Coast Weathervanes offers several weathervanes depicting North America’s indigenous peoples, their stories and the wildlife that was central to their way of life. Colonials, as they built their settlements, were the first to depict American Indians on weathervanes. Relations with First Nation people have certainly evolved over the years, but that those first centuries of contact created indelible and iconic images which weathervane makers and other artists have continued to rework visually to this day. We have created weathervanes based on many cultural traditions from ancient Greece to China and Japan. So, let us know your ideas and we will do our best to bring your particular vision to reality.
