This copper Arrow Weathervane with Scrolls gets straight to the point of a weather vane, showing wind direction, with style and grace. Arrow weather vanes are very effective on roof tops and they are quite economical. We have a nice variety of existing arrow and fletching designs for you to choose from or personalize, if there is some little adjustment that will make it yours. You can, of course, bring ideas to us for an entirely new approach to this classic element.

In the pictures above you will note that one order for this Arrow with Scrollwork Weathervane was personalized with the addition of a conical finial at its apex. To brighten the visuals from ground level optional gold leafing was chosen for the arrow, fletching, and the top finial.

On simpler pieces like this sizing is especially important. We worked with our customer to decide just the right size to show well from the viewing distance.

The arrows shaft is inscribed with the family name, and there are ‘Lucky Pennies‘ from important years in the families history mounted inside the finial, in addition to the traditional penny from the year the weather vane is constructed. Though difficult to see in these photos, there is a Security Device between the upper globe and the scrollwork in the finial version. It was added because it will be mounted in a windy part of Louisiana.

Arrow weather vanes are quite popular and we have many options in our catalog. This one was personalized from an existing design, which is a very affordable way to get exactly the weathervane you want while not incurring new design fees.

As all of our weathervanes are custom and only go on our production calendar after the order is placed, we are very open to working with our customers on their design.
