This Howling Coyote with Moon Ring Weather Vane, Canis latrans, is crafted entirely in copper. Other options include a brass or optional gold leafed moon ring and/or arrow tip and fletching. We often add brass accents to this design, creating stylistic unity with the directionals below the sculpture piece. Some customers have preferred this coyote weathervane without any moon ring. You would choose which when ordering — the price is the same.

Coyote has been immortalized in the American psyche by Wile E. Coyote (also known simply as ‘The Coyote’). Together with ‘The Road Runner’, they form a duo of cartoon characters from a series of Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies cartoons.
