Our Trotting Labradoodle Weathervane is a portrait piece. With the help of your photos, it could be personalized to be a portrait of your labradoodle.
Our skilled artisans fabricated the sculpture from copper in high detail swell-bodied style. Each of the artists in our studio has made their own personal set of hammers for creating the details and textures that so beautifully communicate the long fur of this particular grooming style.
The horizontal bar is inscribed with the family’s name. On the collar tag is inscribed the dog’s name.
Optional gold leaf gilding was chosen for the collar and tags. Gilding, in bright yellow gold or silvery palladium, will create a bright contrast for many decades as a copper or brass weather vane ages and patinas.
The dog has glass eyes, which are available in a range of colors, for your choosing.
The dog pictured also has ‘Lucky Pennies’ from important dates for this family on each end of the arrow, and within the dog.
