Espresso Machine Weathervane with Cups

This Espresso Machine Weathervane with Steaming Cups was a fun project for us. Our San Francisco customer, a real coffee lover, knew exactly the look she wanted. When we suggested putting the steaming cups on the directionals for the vane to spin over, she loved loved the idea.

This is 3 Dimensional piece, in a variety of metals. The cups are spun copper with optional nickel silver for the steam. The espresso machine is fabricated of copper sheet, to exact detail, with optional nickel silver for the handles and knobs, and optional gold leaf on the gauge face. This mix of metals and leafing will create some interesting and distinct colors and contrasts as their vane weathers, and then patinas over the decades.
