This adorable Norwich Terrier Weathervane in Play Bow is one of two ordered by this customer. She also ordered our Highland Cow Weathervane. Pretty smart purchase. All of our customers receive a 10% discount on subsequent purchases, but when ordering two at once the discount applies to both, with the discount given at the time both weathevanes are paid for.
The sculpture piece was fabricated by the amazing artisans in our shop from copper sheet, tooled by hand in swell bodied style to create the natural details of the body and fur. The brown eyes are glass, and the collar has been gilded with optional gold leaf, with the dog’s name inscribed on the collar’s tag. There are ‘Lucky Pennies’ from important years to our customer affixed inside the dog in addition to the traditional penny from the year the weather vane was completed.
Locating a weather vane is always a very personal choice. This pup is intended to be on a pole in the garden, where the owner can view it regularly. We like having weathervanes mounted closer to the ground and have several ourselves here at West Coast Weathervanes that we enjoy from the window.
