This Woman with Birds Weathervane was originally commissioned to top the garage on an Indiana lakeside summer retreat. The customers took advantage of our 10% discount* on multiple orders made simultaneously and also ordered a personalized portrait version of our Water Skiing Woman Weathervane to top their separate guest house. Keeping to the human figure theme made for a nice visual pairing.

The sculpture piece is fabricated in copper, in swell bodied style. There is optional gilding in gold on the skin, dagger, arrowhead and fletching, with palladium details on the birds. Blue glass eyes were chosen for the woman and darker, taxidermy glass eyes for the birds. As this piece gradually weathers, these non-ferrous gildings will remain in bright contrast and detail for many decades.
